The draft Neighbourhood Plan will be built in stages with summary findings and outcomes shared with the community. The plan itself will set the context for the work undertaken, include sections linked to the themes identified by the community, include the associated policy and a design guide/code.

The plan will need to be supported by a consultation statement (reg:14) which will evidence the approach to community engagement, detail the methods applied, events held, and communication tools used.

The draft plan will be reviewed to ensure it meets the basic conditions, such as regard to national polices, the desirability to preserve any listed building or its setting, preserving and enhancing conservation areas, achieves sustainable development, alignment with the polices in place for the area.

Once these stages have been completed the draft plan will be passed to the Parish Council for submission to the Local Planning authority who will review, take the plan to referendum and, if passed by public vote the plan will be made.
